AHPs make up a considerable part of the workforce and have the ability and vision to shape services differently to enhance the health and wellbeing of people across Dorset. To do this we need to work across provider organisations and education to ensure that the future workforce has the skills and aptitudes for this work.

To identify new opportunities for AHPs which fully utilise our unique skill sets that can assist in meeting the needs of individuals, groups, and communities within Dorset.

That the services will embrace AHP learners and see their potential in shaping new and existing services during their learning, to ensure that learners are a valued and integral part of change and ready for their professional lives.
