The Our Dorset Training Hub are pleased to offer this series of practical, virtual, bite-size management tool and technique sessions for anyone in a new management or team leading position across Primary Care.
Target audience
If you are a team leader, supervisor or management lead within a GP Practice and are either new to the role or haven’t had formal training before, you would be an ideal participant. This is a collaborated approach between NHS Dorset and GP Practices. If you are a new team leader, department lead, line manager, GP, Nurse lead, Reception Manager, Practice Manager or Deputies this programme is for you.
Delivery
The sessions will be delivered virtually via Teams and last up to 4 hours each. There will be one session per month, allowing for reflection and action learning time in between sessions. The delivery will be interactive and the content will be grounded in the realities you are working in and reflect the challenges faced as a manager within a Health and Social Care setting.
Group size
To enable the workshops to be interactive the cohort size will be a maximum of 15. We are starting with one cohort starting in March for 5 months. Please therefore ensure that you will be able to make all of the scheduled dates before committing to the programme, as alternative sessions will not be available.
Costs
There are no costs to your organisation other than covering your time whilst on the programme.
