GP Locum needed from mid July/August 2022 for 4-6 weeks

 Around 5 sessions per week – flexible hours / days

 Rate of pay dependent on experience

 Closing date 18 July 2022 – early application advised

The Quarter Jack Surgery are seeking an enthusiastic, qualified general practitioner to join our reputable Surgery from mid July or August 2022 for 4-6 weeks, possibly longer.

What can you expect?

  • Part-time and sessional doctors welcome
  • Regular fixed sessions at times to suit you
  • None or low visits as managed by ANP/paramedics
  • Reduced admin with onsite Prescribing Team
  • Access to Primary Care Network (PCN) clinical team eg MSK practitioners, community pharmacists, paramedics and social prescribers
  • 6 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave
  • A dedicated team including of 4 x excellent ANPs, Nurses, HCA and supporting staff
  • No on-call
  • Reputable surgery with high QOF achievement and CQC ‘good’ rated
  • Free onsite doctor parking

The appointment templates will mirror that of the Practice GPs (7 GP partners and 3 salaried GPs) and can include face to face as well as remote consultations. The system used is SystmOne.

We are a large surgery (patient list size of 15,000) and part of a pro-active Primary Care Network (PCN) comprising 5 practices in Wimborne and Ferndown.
