The Community ENT service is based in two locations Bournemouth and Poole.  We currently employ’s two practitioner’s with a Special Interest in ENT and two GP’s with a Special Interest in ENT.  We are looking for someone to join the Community ENT team and work 2 sessions a week in the assessment and diagnostic clinic based at Shelley Road, Boscombe on a Thursday afternoon and a Friday afternoon.  (please note that should you be interest in this position we may be able to accommodate an alternative site/days/hours for this role if the above does not suit your current working week)

The role includes providing a safe, high quality based care for patients within the Community setting and be able to have full confidence in working on their own initiative and also be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of Audiology clinicians, other ENT Clinicians and Administrative staff.  A Health Care Assistant will be present to assist during each clinic.

The role requires you to undertake comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, development of patient management plans, and referral to Secondary Care and other health professionals as appropriate and provide follow-ups based on medical need.

The successful candidate will need to have both a Diploma and Accreditation in place and links to the Secondary Care Service.
