ICPCS Support Worker

Full-time (37 hours per week).

Site- based in East Dorset, including Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch.

This role is on a salary scale of £21,124 to £24,634 per annum for working full-time 37 hours per week, where incremental points are awarded annually upon length of service.

The starting salary for this role is £21,124 per annum for working full-time 37 hours per week.

Permanent contract.

Do you have experience providing information, support and practical guidance in coping with the now and preparing for the future?

As the ICPCS Support Worker you will be working with patients either within GP surgeries or at patients’ own homes.

Applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills and have sound administrative skills. You will be part of a supportive team, working closely with your peers, reflecting on practice, and have opportunities to work closely with clinical teams in the provision of our ‘non-clinical’ support.

Improving life for people with health conditions through coaching and self-management is an area of growth as set out in the 5 Year Forward View NHS England. This is an exciting time of development of the service as we look to expand our support offer within Primary Care.

An enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) police record check in relation to vulnerable adults (previously known as CRB check) is required for this role.

Ability to travel across Bournemouth (and occasionally to other areas of the business within Dorset), driving licence and use of own vehicle is required for this role – work related travel expenses are reimbursed at 45p per mile.
