About us and job overview

We are a friendly, well established, forward thinking Practice in the beautiful coastal town of Bournemouth and are a member of the Central Bournemouth Network. We are a training practice working from two sites, St Alban’s Medical Centre and East Way Clinic and received a “Good” rating in our last CQC inspection. We are now seeking a positive and conscientious Salaried GP to work 6 sessions a week ideally. However, we would also welcome applications for 4 sessions a week.

This is a 11,800 patient practice with four partners, three salaried GPs and an excellent nursing team.

Our experienced admin/reception team are excellent at workflow re-direction and patient signposting which reduces the amount of admin work for GPs.

Both the clinical and supporting staff pull together in this practice to deliver a great standard of care while enjoying a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

Main duties of the job

The new GP should be forward thinking and a team player. We promote online consultations, facilitate remote working where possible, and have a variety of tools at our disposal. These sit alongside our traditional offering of face-to-face and telephone appointments, all to meet the needs of our patients.
