We are an innovative 5 Partner Dorset Practice

Set on the edge of the magnificent New Forest & beside the seaside!

We are a forward-thinking practice full of ideas and we are happy to nurture newly qualified GPs and/or promote ongoing professional support to experienced GPs. We are a merged Practice comprising 3 long established surgeries set in Christchurch and two semi-rural villages but also in easy reach of Bournemouth and Southampton for sun, sea, entertainment, amenities and dynamic nightlife.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a Salaried GP to cover 4+ sessions of maternity leave.

We run a triage system but also offer face to face appointments for those patients that need to be seen.

We are a Training Practice and regularly have GP Registrars placed with us. Supported by an experienced, highly skilled, multi-disciplinary clinical team, including: –

Vulnerable Elderly team

Community teams


Same Day Triage team

This is complemented by a friendly, innovative administration team which incorporate a Correspondence Management Team and Prescribing Team.

Knowledge and skills


  • GMC registration
  • Ability to provide quality care
  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills
