Same Day Advanced Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated, Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Paramedic Practitioner to join our friendly, successful training practice for 27 hours a week.

We are looking for an experienced, independent prescriber who has a strong team-work ethic and is able to provide high quality care to our patients.

The role will mainly be working alongside our duty doctors, providing telephone triage and same day access to our patients.

The hours will be worked over the following days/times:

Monday 8-6pm (1-hour lunch break),

Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8am-2.30pm (30-minute lunch break)

We are a friendly and supportive Practice with an excellent Primary Care Team comprising of 5 GPs (2 male and 3 female), an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA, 16 admin/reception staff.  Our current list size is approximately 9000 patients with whom we have an excellent rapport.  We are proud to offer a high standard of care but are firm believers in a good work/life balance.

Our surgery is based in Talbot Village on the border of Bournemouth and Poole which offers wonderful opportunities for families with excellent grammar schools and beautiful countryside and beaches close by.
