An opportunity has a risen for someone to join the Dorset Night Nursing Service. You should be a committed, dynamic, motivated professional having excellent assessing skills, the ability to prioritise your work and be a good communicator.
Recent experience of working in a similar environment would be an advantage. Awareness of Community Nursing, the effects of ill health, the ageing process and a basic level of IT literacy are an essential requirement.
The post will be based at either Dorchester Hospital or St Leonards Community Hospital; the post holder will need to have the ability to travel by car as they will be required to monitor patients in their own homes and other community settings.
As a key member of the team you will find the experience challenging, rewarding and varied.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in installments from your first 3 salary payments.
Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
