Joining us as a Health Advisor in our 111 service will provide you with a great opportunity to make a real difference by working for an organisation dedicated to delivering safe, responsive and patient focused service to people requiring healthcare advice and assistance. The 111 service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 a year.

Our Health Advisors are the very first point of contact for all who use the 111 service. Joining us in this role, you will find a busy, friendly environment of likeminded people, dedicated to providing excellent care services.

Your entry into the role will be fully supported with a structured training programme, based at the Dorset 111 Hub. Once you have passed the training you will be supported through on-going supervision and support from senior colleagues, including a team of clinicians.

Applicants must have a good all-round education and a passion for providing excellent customer service. You do not need to have worked in healthcare before, but should be able to demonstrate good communication skills.

  • Full time hours available - please see attached documents for example rotas.
  • You will be expected to work a flexible rota that covers the service and will include weekends, nights and bank holidays
  • Training is full time Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00 for the 5 weeks starting on 27 June 2022.
