The Dorset Homeless Health Service is increasing, and a role for a part time Homeless Mental Health Nurse has now become available. This is a new role for the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole locality, and will involved working alongside both the Homeless health Physical Health Nurse and the Homeless Mental Health Nurse currently in post.

The role involves outreach as our role is to take health services to the homeless clients, and liaise with statutory and charity agencies, who are also involved in the complex management of a person experiencing homelessness.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £40 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments. This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff.

Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
