The Trust Domiciliary Care Agency is a service which provides care and support to adults who have learning disabilities and mental health needs, this may include complex needs and/or challenging behaviours. Service users live in the Poole and Bournemouth area their own homes in the community in the.

This is a full time post of 37.5 hours a week.

The role of the Nurse will be to assist the Domiciliary Care Manager in the day to day management of the agency and the daily supervision of the support workers working with clients in their own homes. The nurse will also provide support to the clients to ensure their needs are met within the community.

The post holder will be required to work from Monday to Friday but may need to work flexibly should the need arise. The post will include on call duties.

Applicants are required to hold the Registered Nurse or equivalent qualification as well as being able to demonstrate previous experience or knowledge of working with people with learning disabilities.

Working full time 37.5 hours per week the successful candidate will be experienced in working in partnership with people with learning disabilities, their families and carers and supporting them to live successfully in the community. You will be committed to improving outcomes for our service users and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
