Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity? Do you want to be part of a service and help shape the future of the Early Intervention Service in Dorset?

We currently looking for a Support Time Recovery Worker Band 3 to cover for maternity leave for 11 months and the role covers the county of Dorset.

The Early Intervention Service is a multi disciplinary team that works with service users experiencing their First Episode of Psychosis. The service works with a broad age group of 14 - 65 years and this role will be varied supporting service users with accommodation and benefit applications as well as helping service users to identify personal goals and to develop or maintain independence in the community. There is a weekly social group for service users supported by this role.

The post holder will need to be able to communicate well with service users and families alike, developing a rapport and trust with service users that are experiencing their first contact with mental health services.

The post holder will be responsible for managing their own caseload of work and will receive management supervision throughout.

The post holder will be required to attend the weekly MDT meeting as well as team supervision every two weeks; they will also be encouraged to seek out clinical supervision external to the team.

The post holder will work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team that includes Mental Health Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, Psychologist, Support Time Recovery Workers, Employment Specialists, Advanced Clinical Practitioner and Medical Staffing.

The role will be between the hours of Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00.

We are looking for a candidate that is reliable, committed and dedicated; who have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise their work.

It is essential that the post holder has access to a vehicle for the purpose of carrying out this job role.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
