Calling all High Intensity CBT Therapists…………..

Our highly regarded Dorset Steps to Wellbeing services are recruiting as we continue to expand our CBT teams.

We are looking for someone with energy, enthusiasm, and a high level of skills and experience. All staff will work as part of a team and receive regular clinical supervision. We have vacancies across Dorset. This is a beautiful area of the country with rolling hills, woodland and the Jurassic Coast all on our doorstep. Our rural vacancies include positions in Purbeck and East Dorset, Dorchester and Bridport, and North Dorset. If you are looking for a more busy urban lifestyle then we have vacancies in Bournemouth and Poole with easy access to beautiful beaches. The successful candidate will offer a blend of face to face and remote therapy. The amount of remote working can be negotiated. Positions are permanent and full-time or part-time. In addition there is one fixed part-time position in Purbeck and East Dorset.

The Steps 2 Wellbeing service prides itself on being innovative and is passionate about development. We promote opportunities for career development and ongoing professional development including training in Long Term Health Conditions and other modalities of treatment such as EMDR, Mindfulness, and RO-DBT. We offer a Preceptorship Program to all successful applicants who have recently gained their High Intensity CBT Award. If newly qualified you will enter the service as a Band 6 High Intensity CBT Therapist and on completion of the program you will be automatically gain Band 7 status.

The successful candidate will provide one to one and group high intensity CBT within a stepped care model for adults with common mental health problems, including depression and a range of anxiety disorders.

Good administrative, time management and communication skills are also essential. Experience of working within the NHS or similar organisation is highly desirable.
