Admin Lead / PA

Liaison Psychiatry Service - University Hospitals Dorset

Full time - Flexible working requests within Monday-Friday core hours will always be considered, as will part time hours over 30 per week.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, dynamic administrator to lead our friendly admin team across the Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospital sites. The role will be based at Royal Bournemouth Hospital, but with expectation of travel across sites as necessary.

We are looking for an experienced administrator with strong people skills and thorough understanding of admin/IT systems and processes, to manage the admin team, providing support and supervision, ensuring efficient admin processes are in place to provide comprehensive admin support to the team, and to directly provide medical secretary/PA assistance to the Consultant Psychiatrists and Matron.

Liaison Psychiatry Service have clinical teams based within both Acute Hospitals, and the teams provide mental health assessment, advice and training within the hospital. Referrals are received from the Emergency Department and other inpatient wards. All routine referrals are responded to within 24 hours, and emergency referrals within one hour, and so administrative support in timely processing of referrals and related clinical documentation and correspondence is crucial to the safe and effective running of the service.
