We recently went into partnership with Bournemouth University and, with the merger of Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts, became University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust this is a really exciting time to join us!

Our ambitious multi-million pound plans to develop our sites are well underway, including developing RBH as the major acute and emergency hospital in East Dorset, PH as the major planned care hospital, and ambitious plans for Christchurch to support on-going patient treatment.

To ensure the most efficient service to our patients, staff and customers, it may be necessary for you to work in differing sections of the Catering Department, usually on duties appropriate to grade level.

It is recognised that the environmental conditions in kitchens may be varied depending on location and duties.

General cleaning of kitchen equipment.

To ensure the cleanliness of the dishwashing machine and dishwashing area generally.

To carry out other kitchen cleaning duties as per published schedules, or as reasonably requested by Supervisor.

To take responsibility for the Health & Safety of yourself, fellow colleagues and others who may be affected by your actions.

Ensure all equipment used is treated with respect and correct Health & Safety procedures are followed, Report any faults or breakdowns to your Supervisor.

Please note: if this job requires you to have a DBS check to enable you to properly fulfil the requirements of the job, on appointment you will be required to repay the cost of obtaining a DBS check and this amount will be reclaimed from your salary.
