We recently went into partnership with Bournemouth University and, with the merger of Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts, became University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust this is a really exciting time to join us!

Do you need a better work/life balance? University Hospitals Dorset is currently looking to recruit experienced Healthcare Assistants looking to work flexibly at either Bournemouth or Poole Hospitals and enjoy a range of benefits:

Applicants must;
- have at least 6 months experience as a Health Care Assistant in a hospital or 1 year in a nursing home and;
- be able to attend the assessment event.

The assessment day will allow shortlisted candidates to explore the fundamental aspects of care covering values, behaviours and attitudes, in addition to a basic literacy and numeracy assessment.

Successful applicants will work in a VARIETY of specialities across the Trust to cover short term needs. The role involves meeting both physical and psychological needs and therefore need to have a flexible approach working as part of a wider team.

Successful Candidates must be available to attend a Mandatory Induction Programme (Terms & Conditions apply). This consists of TWO FULL CONSECUTIVE WEEKS
