We recently went into partnership with Bournemouth University and, with the merger of Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts, became University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust this is a really exciting time to join us!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a enthusiastic and dedicated nurse who is passionate about education and training to join our UHD Cardiology Team as a practice educator.

This is great opportunity to lead the way for training and development of new and existing staff member's in the Cardiology department whilst forging close inter-working relationships with the wider UHD education and practice development teams. The role will improve the clinical practice that we deliver to our patients, resulting in better clinical outcomes and an improved patient experience. You must have exemplary communication and interpersonal skills and be a excellent role model to our teams.

We are looking for a registered nurse with significant post-registration experience within the Cardiology speciality, previous teaching experience is essential along with the desire to enhance the learning and development of others. Being able to demonstrate autonomous working and be a flexible team player is key to the role.

If any applicant is successful for interview there will be a ten minute presentation as part of the interview process.

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital (but you will be required to work across site)
