We recently went into partnership with Bournemouth University and, with the merger of Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts, became University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust this is a really exciting time to join us!

A support typist is required to assist our consultant PA’s in a busy and pressurised area within the Ophthalmology Directorate. The ideal candidate will have an organised approach to their work, a keen eye for detail and be a good team player. The candidate will be to RSAII standard with a view to gaining experience of the consultant secretarial role and learning all aspects of secretarial and administrative duties. The role will also include any administrative roles that the departments sees fit to meet the needs of the growing service.

A typing test will be required as part of the interview process

Hours: 27 hours per week covering Monday – Friday within core hours

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital
