GASTROENTEROLOGY, GENERAL MEDICINE AND OLDER PERSONS MEDICINE
TRUST SPECIALTY REGISTRAR (ST3-7 level)

We have a vacancy for Fixed Term Trust Specialty Registrar posts at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Proposed start date September 2021 until September 2021. The posts will give dedicated training in Gastroenterology and will have participation in the General medicine and Older Persons medicine on call. It is suitable for those who have at least 2 years of experience at SHO level.

 

Salary basic £50,017 plus *enhancements, total £65,631.68

*enhancements are provided as an estimate but are subject to rota changes

 

The medical take consists of 24 registrars, with a mixture of long days, weekends and nights.


We are looking for Registrars to join our busy, dynamic team. We are a multidisciplinary team that is keen to support our registrars in their career development, especially with any management, QI and educational opportunities that they may wish to pursue.

 

These posts are not recognised training posts however there are excellent teaching and postgraduate facilities. The post holders will be encouraged to attend a wide range of education meetings at lunchtimes throughout the week, and clinical experience will be gained from the Department’s own educational programme.
