We recently went into partnership with Bournemouth University and, with the merger of Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts, became University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust this is a really exciting time to join us!

Do you want to be part of an established and dynamic team? Do you have a passion for patient safety and experience. Ward 4 at Royal Bournemouth Hospital is pleased to announce the opportunity for a dynamic, organised and proactive Band 3 Discharge co-ordinator to come on board. As the successful post holder you will be expected to work closely with the nursing staff and wider MDT including Discharge Team, Social Services, Care Agencies and Care/Nursing Homes to facilitate the safe and effective discharge of our older patients. You will gain experience in managing complex discharges, safeguarding, dealing with challenging situations and communicating with outside agencies. The post comes with full on the job training with an induction to the hospital and the role included.
