Transport links are excellent with Bournemouth International airport, Cross-channel ferry terminals at Poole and direct train access to London.

Following an organisational restructure, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual within Urgent and Emergency Care to come and work at the recently merged Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals to come together as University Hospitals Dorset. This is an exciting opportunity as we progress the transformational work with planned and unplanned care sites.

We are looking for matron who is a compassionate, transformational, and inclusive leader. The role of the Matron will focus on the provision of high quality, visible, professional leadership, setting and maintaining standards of clinical excellence, improving outcomes and experiences for patients, families, carer’s as well as staff. This is an exciting opportunity to work in both Emergency departments as we progress the with the transformational work.
