The Outpatient Appointment Team is currently looking for a dynamic Fast Track / Clinic Cancellation Team Leader to lead the existing friendly fast track / clinic cancellation team based within Canford House, Wallisdown.

The Fast Track Team provide a centralised service to all outpatient specialties and acts as single point of contact for clinicians referring patients with suspected cancer.

The Fast Track Team are responsible for mutually agreeing and booking all appointments with the patients within 24 hours of receipt of referral.

The Clinic Cancellations team are responsible for cancelling and amending clinics and contacting patients at short notice.

You will be working closely with other clerks and appointment staff as well as Consultant and Nursing staff. You will need at least 2 years experience of working with an outpatient appointment area. Experience of hospitals IT system, Camis/Ecamis and eReferral is essential to this position. You will have advanced computer skills and a high level of data acccuracy as this is paramount for this post along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will need to be proactive in managing capacity for demand. Previous experience in managing staff desirable
