We recently went into partnership with Bournemouth University and, with the merger of Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts, became University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust this is a really exciting time to join us!

Our ambitious multi-million pound plans to develop our sites are well underway, including developing RBH as the major acute and emergency hospital in East Dorset, PH as the major planned care hospital, and ambitious plans for Christchurch to support on-going patient treatment.

An excellent opportunity has arisen to become the Governance and Risk Coordinator for the Surgical Care Group.

Main duties include:

The post holder will provide administrative support to enable the delivery of the Trust Governance agenda within the Care Group, this will include support to develop, monitor and maintain processes to ensure assurance can be provided for all areas of clinical governance.

This post would ideally suit a dynamic, experienced professional who has a passion for patient safety and quality of care. You must be able to use your own initiative and have excellent organisational skills.

We require the post holder to be a team player, work to deadlines and at pace, be able to demonstrate excellent skills in IT and have an understanding of databases and action logs that will facilitate the efficient monitoring of local agendas.
