We recently went into partnership with Bournemouth University and, with the merger of Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts, became University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust this is a really exciting time to join us!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a physiotherapist looking to pursue their career within acute therapies. This post is a developmental role within the Acute Therapy Team, where once you have met the appropriate objectives you will progress to a band 6 and join the existing rotations through medicine, critical care, cardiology, surgery, critical care follow up, respiratory outpatients and respiratory care.

During the first year of the post, the post holder will spend 1 day a week learning and developing their core physiotherapy skills in a variety of different clinical areas (DAIRS, Musculoskeletal, Neurotherapy, and the MacMillan Unit).

The post holder will be supported by an experienced team of physiotherapists and occupational therapists, and will participate in the band 6 inservice training programme.
