Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity to be part of a developing Acute Inpatient Team? Are you committed to provide excellent care in a variety of clinical settings?

We are a variety of posts and are looking for experienced Occupational Therapists to join our integrated physiotherapy and occupational therapy team. The post holders will have the opportunity of rotating through Critical Care and Surgery, Haematology and Medicine, and gaining specialist skills within these unique clinical areas.

  • We are a proactive and progressive team, we value our staff and want to create an environment of service and staff development. This could suit a candidate who is looking for an opportunity to step up into a band 6 position. There may be the possibility for extended skill development within other clinical areas, or other professional skills eg. quality improvement or leadership skills.

    You will be involved in supervising students, Band 5s and Therapy Assistants as well as providing in service training to more junior staff and the MDT, while developing your clinical skills and expertise. You will take on the responsibilities of being a senior team member and assist in service development and profession promotion alongside Clinical Lead Therapists.

    You will be based primarily within the Acute Therapy Team which is part of the Acute Therapy Inpatient Team who support patients across respiratory, medical, front door, critical care, cardiology and haematology areas. Ensuring best practice and a quality service across the areas we cover as a team are our main objectives and the successful candidate will be included on our 7 day rota to help ensure this.
