Business Manager Band 5


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Patient Access and Performance Directorate as a Band 5 Business manager reporting to the Service Improvement delivery manager. This new role will focus on Service improvement and change management and is offered as a permanent full time post.

The post will be a flexible mix of Service Improvement and more operational duties dependant on the needs of the department. This may include line management during maternity cover.

The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of Outpatient pathways and processes, including RTT, diagnostic and cancer pathways. Service improvement/ project experience is desirable, but not essential.

The post holder must be personable with the ability to build and grow effective working relationships with a variety of staffing groups both in Trust and with partner organisations, i.e. CCG and primary care.

A highly organised, methodical, evidenced based approach to tasks with an enthusiasm to challenge the status quo is highly desirable.

The Access Department is committed to continuing personal and professional develop, there will be opportunities for training such as the QSIR programme.


Hours: 37.5 per week over 5 days
