An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated administrator with excellent communication skills to work as part of the ophthalmology outpatient team. The post is full time at 37.5 hours. The post holder must be computer literate.

Ophthalmology outpatients is a diverse, multidisciplinary environment which requires flexible and adaptable skills, an aptitude to learn and a motivation to develop your own skills in line with progressive service delivery.

The post holder must essentially have the ability to organise and prioritise their workload effectively, work as part of a team and use their own initiative.

The post holder will be involved with telephone calls, receiving referrals to the department, working for the Consultant and multi-disciplinary team, admin duties and managing patient appointments.

Applicants must have excellent communication skills and enjoy a very driven admin role. If you are a real team player and enjoy a challenge, then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
