We are seeking an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our existing team in the Chemotherapy Unit at Dorset County Hospital.
The full-time role will have both clinical and administrative elements to the job and the normal working pattern will be office hours Monday to Friday.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a compassionate and caring personality and have good communication skills, including a confident, professional telephone manner.
They will have recent hospital experience and ideally will have experience in dealing with patients with cancer although this is not essential. Good keyboard skills and basic administration skills are essential.
The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in this speciality.
