FAMILY AND SURGICAL SERVICES DIVISION
DEPARTMENT OF OPHTHALMOLOGY
with a special interest in Paediatrics, Strabismus and Oculoplastics
Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, ambitious and highly motivated Consultant Ophthalmologist to join a well established, progressive and supportive team.
This whole-time replacement post is based at Dorset County Hospital, a modern acute hospital located in the county town of Dorchester. The majority of the post holder’s clinical activity will take place within the Ophthalmology Department at the Trust, however some outpatient clinics are held at community hospitals within the Dorset area.
The successful applicant will contribute to the general ophthalmology service, cataract service and support the ophthalmology casualty service. An exciting opportunity exists to lead on the reconfiguration of existing service delivery within your area of sub-specialist interest of Paediatrics, Strabismus and Oculoplastics
Interested applicants must have the relevant experience in Ophthalmology to undertake a Consultant role as outlined in the person specification.
