Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications from junior doctors who are interested in continuing to pursue training and experience in a Trust Doctor (F3/GESTE) role commencing from August 2021.

Opportunities exist in all specialties within medicine; Care of the Elderly, Stroke, Respiratory, Acute Medicine, Renal, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Oncology.

The post will be a part of the acute/general medical SHO tier at Dorset County Hospital, taking a share of the on call duties and gaining exposure to a wide range of medical conditions while being fully supported by a full junior and senior team.

This will include full and equal access to educational & clinical supervision as well as internal educational and training opportunities and study leave. Access to an ePortfolio will be offered.

The successful applicants will be offered the opportunity to gain experience in a medical specialty/specialties on an inpatient, outpatient or procedure basis (subject to specific choices, practicalities & availability).

The term of the post can be flexible, but will be for a minimum of 6 months and maximum of 12 months from appointment
