Grade 11 Social Worker required to work in the Safeguarding Triage Team.
What you will be doing
This an office based role working at County Hall, in Dorchester. It is an exciting and challenging role which involves managing the more complex work within the team. Risk screening all the concerns that are received and providing support to other Social Workers and Assessment and Support Coordinators in the Triage Team. To explain the role purpose and to also include opportunities for learning and development within the role.
Relevant experience required in Adult Safeguarding work.

You must have a degree in social work/Occupational Therapy or equivalent, be registered with the HCPC and be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the post.
Dorset Council requires all newly qualified social workers to undertake the assessed and supported year in employment (ASYE) and meet the expected standards during the ASYE period. The ASYE arrangements should normally apply to the appointment of all newly qualified social workers who qualified after September 2012 unless they can demonstrate that they already fully meet the standards laid out in the professional capabilities framework (PCF).
