Principal Occupational Therapist  - Adult Social Care

We are seeking to recruit a confident, innovative and creative Principal Occupational Therapist to champion and alongside Adult Social Care staff to achieve outstanding professional practice. You will have significant experience within health and social care and proven ability to operate at a strategic level, together with a leadership style that empowers and supports staff to deliver excellent professional practice, for which the postholder is accountable.  The successful applicant will be the Organisational lead for Care Technology and will need to  demonstrate an ability to plan and deliver service outcomes in line with both legislative frameworks  and Council Objectives.

With strong communication skills you will be able to connect, engage and negotiate effectively at all levels and demonstrate the confidence to make clear informed decisions.  Whilst the post carries no direct line management responsibilities, an ability to work flexibly and in partnership with Statutory, Private and Voluntary Sector Organisations is essential.  There will be opportunity to participate in local, regional and strategic service development, innovations and projects.

Applicants must hold a professional qualification and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
