Temporary employed PA or self-employed PA. 

Job reference: DPLMER 

Contract: 3 months temporary contract. 

Personal Assistant/Carer @ £10.07 per hour. 

Bournemouth, BH7 area.

Self-employed PAs – please state rates of pay on application. 

No. of hours per week at times: 6 hours per week, days and times to be discussed with Client. 

About the Role:

We are looking for a Personal Care Assistant, either employed or self-employed to provide support to our Client who is diagnosed with a learning disorder and generalised anxiety disorder. 

The Client requires support to explore their anxiety in social situations to help them develop new friendships. The Client needs support and encouragement to explore local resources in the community to promote confidence and self-esteem. The PA needs to be able to facilitate the Client in accessing meaningful activities and positive friendships.

 

Currently, the Client has a lack of routine or structure within their week to provide motivation or occupy their day. 

Main Duties will include but not limited to: PA support to enable the Client to be supported to access community and social activities, i.e. volunteering, GYM, art classes with support, to provide Client with social interactions and meaningful activities, giving Client weekly enjoyment and purpose. 

Ideal Candidate: 

  • Previous PA experience in a similar role is essential and knowledge and/or experience of learning disorder and anxiety care is advantageous
  • Must have patience, enjoy socialising and be reliable
  • Confident to be directive as and when required
  • Full, valid driving license not essential but preferable
  • DBS Checks will be carried out
  • Legally Able to Work in UK
