Give Nature a Go: Tai Chi in the Park

Join us for some relaxation with nature and the flowing movements of Qigong tai chi with Jenny Newman.

Jenny shows us how this gentle exercise involving posture, movement, and breathing techniques can improve our wellbeing.

Please dress for the weather in light-fitting clothing – you don’t have to wear gym clothes.

This activity is suitable for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. Some of the moves may not be possible but many will be, including the meditative breathing and movement at a level you are comfortable with. A lot of the practice is arms and upper body with some leg and lower body stances but it can still be beneficial from a chair and for those with limited movement.

We welcome participants to bring a chair to do their practice in if they’d prefer.
