We are looking to recruit motivated, enthusiastic and forward-thinking Band 5 physiotherapists to join our rotation:

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is based on three sites, Christchurch Hospital, Poole Hospital and The Royal Bournemouth Hospital and offers the opportunity to work on acute inpatient wards and assessment units; outpatient clinics, rehabilitation facilities, and in the community, including through our rotational partnership with Dorset Healthcare.

  • Acute Care (Respiratory, Surgery, Medicine and Intensive Care)

  • Older Persons Medicine (Admission Avoidance, Short stay, Rehabilitation and Day Hospital)

  • Musculoskeletal (Elective Orthopaedics, Trauma Orthopaedics and MSK Outpatients)

  • Neurotherapy (Stroke Unit and neuro rehab)

  • Rehabilitation: inpatient community hospital; home-based community therapy

  • Paediatrics

We are looking for physiotherapy graduates, or students who are due to graduate this year with excellent communication skills, a professional and flexible approach and a strong skill base to provide high quality care for our patients.

The successful applicants will have excellent communication skills, a professional and flexible approach and a strong skill base.

Experience in an acute NHS setting is also desirable but not essential.
