An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Research & Development (R&D) Directorate team as a Data Management Assistant.

The R&D Department is involved in the set-up, design, conduct and analysis of clinical trials and other clinical research studies, working in collaboration with patients, research teams, hospital departments, other NHS Trusts, commercial and academic partners.

Based in the Dorset Clinical Research Centre and sharing our passion and enthusiasm for clinical research in the NHS, you will be required to work across the research portfolio under the supervision of our clinical trials data team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of clinical trials data management, playing a key role in the organisation, co-ordination and execution of all aspects of clinical research data management and administration, including maintaining site files and accurately entering data into case report forms and IT based systems. Excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask and organise workload are essential skills for this post. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly, dynamic, multi-disciplinary team supporting high quality clinical research.

Please note there is the opportunity for progression to a Band 3 within this role upon completion of recommended competencies.
