We recently went into partnership with Bournemouth University and, with the merger of Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts, became University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust this is a really exciting time to join us!

Our ambitious multi-million pound plans to develop our sites are well underway, including developing RBH as the major acute and emergency hospital in East Dorset, PH as the major planned care hospital, and ambitious plans for Christchurch to support on-going patient treatment.

Responsible for managing all aspects of the Trust maintenance team including: - human resources.

To work with the estates management team to produce plans, and policies for the continuing improvement of the operational estates services.

The department is working toward having a good reputation for delivering an excellent maintenance service to the trust and has cost improvement plans in place for the next 3-5 years. A fundamental part of this role is the implementation of the cost improvement plan in a sustainable manner.

The Trust has also now become a larger organisation; the Estates management team will be working to amalgamate the estates services across UHD.
