We recently went into partnership with Bournemouth University and, with the merger of Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts, became University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust this is a really exciting time to join us!

Our ambitious multi-million pound plans to develop our sites are well underway, including developing RBH as the major acute and emergency hospital in East Dorset, PH as the major planned care hospital, and ambitious plans for Christchurch to support on-going patient treatment.

Forest Holme Hospice is a 12 bedded specialist palliative care unit providing end of life care and advanced symptom control for patients with complex palliative / end of life care needs.

We are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants preferably with knowledge and understanding of palliative care or willing to learn and develop within this specialism to join our caring, professional team.

The successful applicant must be passionate in caring for palliative and end of life care patients, be able to work as part of a team and demonstrate enthusiasm, motivation and good communication skills.

Full time and part time hours are available. These positions will include full shift rotation: long days, weekends and nights to cover the service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
