We recently went into partnership with Bournemouth University and, with the merger of Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts, became University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust this is a really exciting time to join us!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Individual Giving and Campaigns Fundraiser to work as part of our charity team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity.

Specifically, the post holder’s focus will be to significantly increase the individual giving, campaign and lottery income in line with the charity’s approved strategy and build long term relationships with supporters.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual who has a sound understanding of fundraising, excellent relationship building skills, works well in a busy environment and is a team player able to work on own initiative and manage workloads independently.

You will have

  • individual giving and campaign fundraising experience
  • a track record of income generation from either a fundraising or sales/commercial background
  • previous experience of using a CRM database is desirable
  • good written and verbal communications skills, with strong attention to detail
  • an analytical nature, able to evaluate and monitor the success of activities
  • excellent time management skills
