We are looking for a full time Therapy Technician to join the Poole Intermediate care service at Alderney hospital.

Our aim is to prevent hospital admissions and to support patients out of hospital as soon as possible. Our work involves visiting patients within their own homes. We are looking for a Therapy technician to work along side the Therapists within the team to support patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals. This will involve taking out equipment, supporting patients with exercises programmes, providing walking aids, double up visits with Therapists and nurses and lots of opportunity for learning and development.

The Poole intermediate care team is a team made up of Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Assistant Practitioners and Community rehabilitation assistants. We are hardworking, flexible and passionate about our job within the Poole locality.

This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week. The job involves weekend working and some late shifts, usually one a week. Our service covers from 8am till 8pm however the Therapy Technician hours will be 9 till 5pm, with one 12 till 8pm shift a week.
