We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic , professional individuals to come and work with our amazing Poole North District Nursing Teams to support the health of our community.

We have full and part time posts, including the opportunity for a 12 month fixed term 30 hour development post which has the opportunity to become permanent. The Poole North locality provides nursing care and management to patients who are registered with the 6 surgeries across Corfe Mullen, Canford Heath, Creekmore, Oakdale, Merley, Broadstone and the areas bordering.

As a community staff nurse you will be providing nursing care to patient in their own home. We provide a wide and varied level of care to patient in their home. This means we have highly skilled workforce, successful candidates will be supported with upskilling and training.

There will be an expectation for the successful candidates to work weekends, late shifts and bank holidays pro rata. Our late shift covers until 8pm.

With excellent links to local universities, the training and development we are able to offer is first class, allowing rapid upskilling and support with new skills. Newly qualified staff will have access to a preceptorship program and a specific clinical upskilling program to support their transition from student to RGN.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.

Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

We would welcome applications from newly qualified nurses and we provide a very comprehensive and fully supported Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified healthcare professionals

The successful individual must be able to drive and have access to a car.

There will be an expectation for the successful candidates to work weekends, Late shifts and bank holidays.
