Personal Assistant Support Worker
£13.00 Per Hour

About the Role:
We are looking to employ a Personal Support Assistant to provide support to a young lady who has suffered a severe stroke which has left her with a brain injury and some physical disability.
Nancy is a 49 year old lady who prior to her stroke was a single parent to her 9 year old son. Nancy enjoys cooking, shopping, lunches and coffee out. She would also like to join a gym and go swimming. She describes herself as driven, motivated, active and energetic
She is looking for 2-3 hours support per day, to a maximum of 13 hours per week (Monday-Friday). Hours can be flexible
Main Duties will include but not limited to:
- Social support with accessing the community and using public transport
- Some support with dressing etc if going swimming
- Support with domestic tasks such as basic housework, shopping, life admin and preparing meals
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous PA experience in a similar role is essential and knowledge of brain injury
- Active and motivated
- Must have patience, enjoy socialising and be reliable
- Confident to be directive as and when required
- Full, valid driving license
- DBS Checks will be carried out
- Legally Able To Work in UK
