This exciting new position has created an opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Facilities Supervisor to join our team. You will be based at our St Anns Hospital site, and will manage the day to day running of the domestic support services on the outside sites.

The position is for 20 hours per week - Friday to Monday 7am to 12pm or 10am to 2pm

The successful applicant will be knowledgeable in hospital cleaning processes and have an awareness and understanding of Infection Prevention Control.

You should be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the expectations on a hospital cleaning service and ideally have experience in a similar Supervisor role.

Duties will be interesting and varied to include,

  • A clear understanding of the hospital cleaning service and the standards required, regarding infection control.
  • Day to day Supervision of the domestic team
  • Carrying out cleaning audits, rota planning, completion of staff timesheets and other office based work as requested via a computer system
  • Supporting the team during periods of annual leave and sickness with a "hands on approach"
  • Staff training and mentoring
  • Contact with Trust staff in regard to any domestic cleaning issue

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
