We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Stroke Data Validation Officer to join our multidisciplinary newly merged stroke team within University Hospitals Dorset.

The successful candidate will work across the stroke units at The Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospital sites, as part of our dynamic and friendly team . They will be responsible for supporting the team to ensure compliance with the Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP), a mandatory dataset which is completed for every stroke patient who is admitted to the Trust. The post holder will lead on the accurate collection and recording of stroke data. The post holder will be responsible for validating key indicators across the stroke pathway that will indicate whether a patient has achieved the recommendations for optimal stroke care.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who has the ability to work independently, within a busy but supportive environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills as they will be liaising with staff at all levels within the team and across the Trust and will be the first point of contact for visitors arriving onto the stroke unit.

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital (you will be working across all sites)
